Dark Byte along with Mods activate the accounts.
It doesn't send a link after you register for the person to activate.
So really, there could be 0 accounts needing to be activated if we had more time on our hands to activate all the new accounts each day.

And I'm sure DB would take care of the members if he felt the need to.
I'm sure he knows what he is doing seeing as he started this back on 2005 or 2004?

The thing is not that he doesnt know what hes doing, I dont doubt that he does.

It is just i feel CEF is getting abused by leechers, and what possible action we could take to keep CEF clean Wink

and the 0 post after 2 days = remove, wont work. It will almost lead to spam in atleast 80% of the cases

I might be a bit pedantic ^^ but hey, I just wanted to help improve the page that I spend the most of my time on during the days Wink

and there is probably some ways the filter might work better so that they might find their ground and what not, But as stated before, this might not be considered at all, but it would be nice if we could clean out the un-necessary things in CEF so that we might open up the member list a bit or something Razz

since it is a pain in the *baaaad word* to find names there ^^

Agreed. Also, Darkbyte should make an option to have your thread only to be seen by people with a certain ammount of posts. Downloads and links should only be seen by people with over at least 40 posts. Upping the forum security would make it so people can release better hacks without having to worry about them getting patched.

stupid idea. there's nothing wrong with the forums at the moment, and there's nothing to really download from here anymore that isn't from an external link. i don't think you ever had to be registered to download in the first place...

It's pointless. CEF has always been a safe haven for leechers. It will never change. Ironically, there is nothing to leech anymore. Memberlists are useless with name changes, this idea is silly and will hardly improve anything.
