I couldnt help but notice, while I was bored I took a tour through the memberlist found on this website...

I promise you, after looking through it for 10minutes or so. It was worse than I expected...

I saw atleast 2000 - 5000 users, registered with 0 posts.
My guess is they just registered to download some content and then left with noo intentions of coming back...

Darkbyte or someone is there something you could do against this, or atleast remove all inactive users with 5 or less posts or something?

Not that It does harm anyone but I think it will maybe make the system a wee bit faster than it is now.

I mean it is not too high and not to low.
And what is the possible action towards those who are, and have been inactive since god knows when, I saw all from 2004 - 2009 :/ this is a slight problem, I hate leechers... CONTRIBUTE!

5 posts in General Discussions isn't much of a contribution. Besides, I'm pretty sure most of us have been kind of frustrated at something you want to download, or see a link, but can't because you're not registered to the forum or don't have enough posts.

There's about 5000 accounts that have not been activated yet either...

Also...CEF isn't private, adding a post count to download from CEF would just cause spam so the members could get their crap.

I kind of thought of that (the spamming part)
But what can be done then, I mean its a great pity to have 5000+ unactivated and 0post accounts.

Would it make a big difference to you, if Dark Byte deleted the 5000 inactive members?

I would never make DB work more than he actually needs to, But if there is a filter way of doing this, then I'd say go for it, otherwise just leave it.

Filter would be best if it was something like this:
< 5 Posts + Inactive for 1 Month > = Remove
Unactivated for 2 - 3 weeks > = Remove
(they might have accidentally forgot the pass or removed activation mail, or As In my case, I never got any)

If you have any better ideas, they are welcome Razz

Even though this might never be done, maybe DB might consider this.
