So my friend is leaving to study abroad, and isn't coming back. She'll be in Taiwan, where the climate is hot. [I originally thought it'd be cold, so I was going to get her a scarf and ear muffs].

So what should I get her? I'm totally stumped on ideas, so I want to see your guys' inputs on this.

I think it should be something she can use but which had a picture of you two, maybe, or some sort of message engraved so that its not just "one more gift", if you see what I mean? Maybe a teddy with an embroided message?

I mean, you could always get her something you can just buy... But how special would that really be? Another idea is to get her two things: A main gift, which could be anything, engraved or not, and perhaps a bracelet of somesort with your names and "BFF" or something...

Something that you made personally that she can remember you by and she can treasure. Maybe like a photo book if all your treasured memories.

I like the album idea, but I don't really have photos of myself or her, or both of us. Lawl. Is there a work-around for that :S

Also, what if I wrote her a letter? Would that be too corny? :s

get her like a heavy duty raincoat lol

or, get her some short-shorts 'cause it's real hot during the summer

k, so right now...

- I'm taking her to Wonderland because she hasn't been there and wants to go
- We take lots of pictures, including those pictures in the picture booth stuff
- Buy / create a photo album
- Decorate the album / customize it and insert the developed pictures
- Stick a letter in there, so she can mail back and communicate
- Go to Pacific Mall to buy her a pochacco or mashimaro stuffed teddy
- Buy her an umbrella, and some summer outfits
- Get a customized, engraved necklace [time permitting]

All before Sunday, June 28, 2009. Is that a bit excessive? I don't think so. Need more ideas D=[/url]
