When I thought I had outsmarted a program, I forgot that I did not run it with sandboxie.
Sandboxie kinda puts a program in its own playground, but any changes it makes are not permanent.
Now on my default account, everything is disabled, opening anything, start menu is restricted, other shit. I can't show a hijackthis log because of that, but if I am told how to enable .exe's, I can show one. Oh, and task manager is still enabled.
Its not a major virus, just pissing me off .

| So without that sandboxie you haven't had this problem? Try re-installing it?

What error do you get when you try to run programs?
Also check if you can run regedit.

| Perhaps just run in safe mode and see if you can run HijackThis! from there.

Also check if you can run regedit. | Administrator blah has disabled the following operation from happening blah blah blah
Funny thing is, I AM the administrator. It is just most likely a registry change. It is all probably in HKEY_CurrentUser though, since it only affects one account.

Can you boot into safe mode and perhaps manually remove it from there?
