It's come out! The preview for firefox 3.5 was released sometime between right now, and last night! It's VERY fast, much more so than 3.0. Anybody else have it? It's superb.

The Firefox 3.5 Preview is super fast.

The Firefox 3.5 Beta 4 is super slow.
