So I reformatted comp, and I'm trying to install .net framework 3.5 SP1, and this fucking message keeps on popping up.
It's terribly annoying, and it's pissing me off.
P.S., if you help me on this, I'll come to Random Spam much less often due to me actually being able to play the games.

This problem, just like your clocking problem, can be solved by deleting hal.dll and boot.ini and rebooting. .net Framework is reading these files and is realizing that it cannot continue with them there. Just delete and reboot. If you don't know where they are, they can be found at C:\WINDOWS\System32.

ur a fucking retard. That would ruin ur com. The real way you underclock ur com is to go to boot.ini and delete the crap in it and then save.

DUH! Why didn't I realize that. But just delete hal.dll just for precautions, don't want it to see that you deleted one file and not let you boot up.

Ur a fucking retard too.
The real way would be to hex edit, and corrupt the contents of both boot.ini and hal.dll, because vista blocks access to deleting those files, but allows access to writing into them.
