Ok I have this pretty sleep button on my keyboard, which puts my computer into standby. After pressing it again to resume, my system just plain restarts. I disabled automatic restart on system failure, but that did not do the trick. Any ideas?

what is your sleep button configured to do?
but I don't think it's got to do with your keyboard. more like, your system wasn't installed correctly to enable waking from sleep. possible resolving steps:
- (re)install your chipset drivers.
- if that didn't work out, download a new BIOS update and run over it.
- if that appears to have no effect, reinstall your OS as well.
- if THAT does nothing, install a different OS and see what you get.
- when all else fails, you might have to check for short-circuiting in your motherboard... which I've never handled before.
