|
|
So, I'm trying to use my ipod headphones / mic as a computer mic.
It works perfectly on the ipod, but the imput is so small on the computer you have to boost it loads in audacity to hear it.
I'm assuming the ipod has a huge build in gain.
So i'm wondering how I can change it so I can use it in games like css and as a general computer mic for vent.
Thanks.

I really don't think there is anyway to.
Best advice I can say is: check your connections to the 3.5mm jack and or find a microphone boosting software.

Connection is fine.
I've tried it on other computers, exact same problem.
As I said, on the ipod it sounds perfectly clear.

If you want to record windows sounds in Vista.
1. Right Click Volume Icon and select Recording devices.
2. Right click empty space in the box and tick both options.
3. Enable Stereo Mix, and make it default.
4. When recording, set Stereo Mix as recording device if not already selected...

Did I not mention the microphone part of this?
Incredibly irrelevant post, well done.

Help would be appreciated.

So your life is sitting on a computer chair on a forum?
Don't you have a job? or school? or friends.
You know what screw this... Enough of this offtopic crap...
