Those of you who remember my post about my computer being fucked by a virus, and making my computer lag, well all has changed since I installed vista.... pretty weird eh?

I had reformated with XP and it still lagged. Reformatting with vista solved it.

| btw the reason is because some viruses are only made for specific OS's. Some viruses are made to work on XP OS's, while others are for Vista OS's etc.

If he reformatted, it doesn't matter what OS he reformatted to because either way the virus would be gone, so that probably isn't the reason.
