*No smudging involved whatsoever.
Well, anyway, I found this cute render in Anime render (this time, in the Anime category), decided to make a sig out of it. And I heard somewhere that the characters are from the anime/manga version of Twilight, I would never have thought there would be an anime/manga version of Twilight. >.>
The background is from a pack I downloaded quite some time ago, I thought it'd fit perfectly with the render.

The thing is, I can't seem to recreate my signatures, not one of them at all. D: Quite sad, this one was really nice.
But I'll tell you this:
1. I added 6+ gradient maps I think.
2. I used the Pen Tool for the dots.
3. I used the dodge tool to brighten up their faces a bit.
4. I used the burn tool for the corners.
5. I used C4D's from packs uploaded in DeviantArt.

can you teach me how you did your little red glowing things underneath them and the shiny dotted lights ?

The fuck?
It's alright phixen, but the colours clash.. a lot.
Try and get a smoother transition from the red to the brighter yelowish colour, and don't change the background so dramatically, more of the same is better than two entirely different things. The floral brushes (I think?) at the bottom of the tag seem to be on a weird blending mode (colour dodge, pinlight... w/e).
Anyway, text is pretty good, but I think just move it over his arm to the right.
I feel really bad saying all this, but I just don't like the tag ;_;.
Having said all that, what you've done with his back, the white dots & w/e it is behind him looks great.

The red glow is the C4D's. I used the Pen Tool for the dots. Did an outer glow around them.
I used three C4D's. They were obtained from different packs in DeviantArt. Lol, the red glow wouldn't have been like that if I hadn't screwed up. I noticed I used the dodge tool too much so I deleted the layer where I used the dodge tool and burn tool. I think I made the text layers invisible. I created a new layer below the render-sharpened layer. I forgot to make the C4D's invisible, but I thought it looked nice so I let it stay that way. Then dodged and burned blah blah.
@Viral: They're not floral brushes though. :3 I'm gonna change it a bit then.

| In V2, the lighting looks like it's from the bottom instead of behind them now. I deleted most of the gradient maps, erased a part of the C4D that were overlapping the flowers. And completely deleted a Bubble C4D, etc. etc.
