I'll have to explain this once more. Konami was pushing Kojima to make a multiplat because of RE5's success. Kojima was smart and knew that you can't fit a good game these days on a 7GB disc. He didn't even lead Metal Gear Rising. MGR isn't even the same type of game. That would be like Halo Wars coming to the PS3 and us saying you lost the franchise. MGR follows the storyline a Raiden, a cyborg ninja guy that has gotten his ass handed to him by Snake on several occassions. He has also died like 135081 times. The game isn't even the same genre. It is classified as Lighting-bolt action.
Tactical Espionage Action > Lightning Bolt action
Snake > Raiden
PS3 > 360
Hideo Kojima is coming to the Sony press conference at E3 tomorrow and will likely be announcing the release of the PS3 exclusive next MGS, along with one for the PSP.

Yes it will. MGR won't be exclusive, it is multiplat, which is a shame because they have to put the same game on both systems, meaning that both versions can only be 7GB, which is a huge limit. However, IF they make another MGS game, it will be PS3 exclusive. The website still has enough room for two more games. One will almost positively be an MGS game for the PSP, the other is rumored to either be MGS4: Subport (or some other name), MGS5, or some other game.
But seriously xdev:
Xbros before E3: "Who cares about MGS? It isn't even good."
Xbros after E3: "FUCK YEAH SUCK IT PS3 WE HAVE MGS NOW!"
