Isn't that good, because they just go in front of you and start stabbing you, and by the time you exit your scope and take out your machete, you're already dead.

Stabbing from the front doesn't do too much damage, and if they do that, I can just shoot them with my sniper since they're body will probably show up my scope anyways.

Well not from the front, but from the side. Either way, they are still going to kill you.

You run backwards and select your SMG. I can do that in less than 2 seconds.

If you have your razorback equipped, then you don't have the SMG.

Or Knife, either way it's easy as fuck.

If you are on your tip-toes waiting for it to happen, yes. It is the whole element of surprise.

No... You are sniping and when you see the red thing light up in the corner of your eye and you see your health go down, you unzoom, select a different weapon and run backwards.
