So .. I found myself bored, and just sat here and looked at my keyboard..
Then I realised, I never really used the Right ShiftKey .. (The one beneath
Enter) .. Am I the only one?

I mean, my keyboard has some keys I've -never- used before. For
example, the key that works just like a regular RightClick? Neither did I
ever use the Insert key (except from playing certain old dos-games which
were controlled with it). I'm actually quite unsure what it can do.. But I can
guess it's like Ctrl+V

Last is the WinKey.. I know it has TONS of shortcuts, but I never bothered to
learn them, so I never use it.

Are you guys experiencing the same? Mainly the Right Shiftkey..

if i actually use capitals, which i hardly ever do because word autocorrects for me, i use the right shift key probably more than the left. and hit the insert key and start typing in front of a word in a word document, and then press it again to turn it off and see what happens.

I use the right shift key incredibly often, even in this post.
I press the right shift with my right pinky and type what I want in capitals, also question marks (?) are easy with the right shift key.

I'm so used to game FPS, so i ALWAYS use the left shiftkey. Even for Question marks .. It just seems faster for me. The left pinky is used to camp the shiftkey :b

As said above. I would also only use the right shift key to write question marks. Or when they're are hotkeys that are close together like Shift+Enter I would use the right shift key to do that. Also I noticed I never use the (/*-+.) on the numpad.

I tend to use the left SHIFT key more then the right lol, I haven't found many shortcuts.

Only shortcut I know and use is windows key + L. Guess what it does.

I don't use it. I rarely even notice it's there.
The left Shift key is easier because my pinky is always on it.

I have only ever used the right shift once when I injured my left hand and had to use the right hand only...

Well it's nice to know that I ain't the only one who's not using my keyboard fully xD

But I use the numpad a lot. for slashes, and numbers, it's way faster for me to type a number on the numpad, instead of the line of numbers above the letters. Maybe from 1 - 5 I could do it with my left hand, because they're easier to reach, than for my right hand to leave the mouse to get to the numpad.

how does everyone use the left one so much? i just tried in notepad with different characters and i can't touch type and use the left shift, even when i try my brain tries to avoid it.

Well, I've played Counter-Strike since forever, and LeftShift is the walk key. My pinky always control the Ctrl and Shift, while the ringfinger is on Capslock and Tab. All of that is just from gaming, so I'm very used to it, and comfortable about it. And I type with both hands, all 10 fingers, and if I should use the right shiftkey, I would just think it was in the way, and take away some of the typing-speed I've gotten myself. It's a stupid position, because of the way I have my hands on the keyboard, I almost need to break my pinky to hit it, which simply isn't fast enough for me :b
