I have set up a 64bit wep key security for my Belkin router. I just need to know how to connect tot he damn network (which information to put where.)
Username:
Password:
Domain Name (or something like that):

I have my passphrase, wep key password, the password needed to change router settings.

Please tell me which information to put where and in which format (like wep key 76-45-65-43-65 example)

I have literally been trying for 2 days.

PS: I changed to a WEP security network so I can go online with my DS but it's having the same problems. IDK where to put which information.

PSS: I am using my aunt's computer and internet.

if you're just connecting wirelessly

- on your computer if your wireless receiver's enabled, you should have a list of networks with your wireless one there, then just try to connect and input your wep key when it asks.

- for your DS, according to this site, it should be the exact same.

unless you want to manually change settings, like static internal ip, you have to input your primary dns and such.

the rest of the crap, username and password, is just for accessing your router's settings and changing stuff there, it has nothing to do with trying to connect the the wireless network.

i get your problem now. have you tried setting up the connect manually, you can refer to the bottom half of this. people with the same problem as you have avoided it by doing that.

or under Creating the Wireless Network Profile Manually on this site.

I think you're talking about the comments at the bottom? Can you be more specific and tell me who's comment to look at? I can't read it all yet as there's a party going on.

Thanks a huge lot.

no, don't read the comments at the bottom, read the steps to setup a wireless network manually and you shouldn't be prompted to input the extra shit like username and domain.
