It's legal because the chemical structure is completely different from THC or any other illegal drug. The effects
are the same though. It feels just the same as weed.

So I'm wondering everyone's opinion on this drug. I realize that I am probably the only one on this
forum who has tried it, but this forum is generally a population of teenagers with normal yet alternative
lifestyles, so I see your opinions as very meaningful.

The few harmful health effects of marijuana come from smoking it, so having JWH-018 would be the
equivalent of having pure THC. It's vaporized, which bypasses the tars and carcinogens produced by
smoking organic plant matter.

The only real mental effect is the increased risk of schizophrenia. This is negligible to most people, however.

So what does everyone think? If there was a chemical exactly the same as pure
THC, but legal... would you smoke it, or would you want it to be illegal? Why?

My opinion:

A few close friends and I have gone through almost a couple grams of the substance now (the equivalent
of about 2 oz of medium quality marijuana), and I think it the most utterly amazing and remarkable substance
I have ever saturated my neurons with. It is better than real weed in many ways, and I almost look down
on those who smoke primarily real bud.

Cannabis seems to have more subtle euphoria-causing actives, but the JWH-018 is still quite euphoric
and more or less exactly the same as THC. The JWH causes more of the deja vu feeling, and the change
in vision interpretation.

The effect is overall just as enjoyable as real cannabis. The differences are subtle, like the difference
between indica and sativa.

It is a pure chemical which you can easily buy through google in small or large amounts, and is also
legal for all purposes except consumption. I'm willing to bet it will stay legal for a while, as well, because
its only known illicit use comes from online drug forums as there have not been any generally noticeable
amount of usage of the chemical on the streets (it is mainly only used by drug connoisseurs, such as myself).

TLDR: Jwh-018 is a legal, healthier, cheaper, more effective drug compared to marijuana. Should it stay legal, and would you try it? Why?

Still easy to get though, it's also the main ingredient in some legal smoke blends (and possibly a component of some blends of Spice).

Also, in USA it's not legal for consumption, so getting caught with it here would still get you in a lot of trouble unless there was no sign you were consuming it and stored it properly.

I was told marijuana is the first step for the heavier drugs, such as heroin etc. So for me its ok that its illegal.

Yes although for JWH, it's highly unlikely for someone to try it as their first drug, in which case they are wanting to try drugs so bad that the drug itself is not the cause of trying harder substances.

Why do i think weed should not be legal or this drug either?

Well, because i don't think people should use some drug/plant to produce a false sense of well being.

I don't need/do weed, because i don't need something to make me feel good. I already feel good.

I think weed (and cigarettes) should be illegalized from being able to be sold in stores OTHER than stores that are based on selling drugs/cigars/ciggarettes.

ex) Your local gas station CANNOT sell weed/cigarettes.
ex) Your local smoke store CAN sell weed/cigarettes.
Laws should be passed and raised for weed/cigarettes to the age of 21.

I know i referred to cigarettes in here when this entire thing was about Cannabis, but my view for them is the same.

Both these drugs would stimulate our economy (cash crop)... The bad part is that i disagree for the reasons people use them.

This (in my opinion) is the best solution between illegalizing weed and legalizing it.
