I was really disappointed with the Angels & Demons movie, they removed so many important factors from the book and changed a lot of it just to make it easier to understand.

They completely left out the director of CERN who was supposed to be in the office with the Camerlengo when he brands himself, instead they replaced him with the commander of the Swiss Guard who was supposed to die in the church where the third cardinal was being burned. Also, in the church with the burning cardinal, the girl was supposed to be kidnapped and Robert was supposed to go to the fountain alone and the last cardinal was supposed TO DIE. Instead he ends up becoming the Pope, I was seriously mad at that part. And then Robert was supposed to go the the Church of Illumination by himself, not with a ton of police/SWAT people, and he was supposed to go up to a tower and fight the assassin to save the girl. And in the movie the assassin escapes and gets blown up in a car when Robert was supposed to push him off a ledge... Finally, in the movie the camerlengo thinks that the dead Pope was just his adoptive father when he was actually his biological father and that's why he killed him.

Wow that makes me really fucking mad. After reading the book, I thought it would be an awesome film, but for them to cut out all these parts, that's fucking disappointing. When the CERN director gives Brandon the tape and they air it, I fucking loved that part because it showed how the camerlengo branded himself and therefore revealed the twist of the book.

Neither movie was good. Tom Hanks is not a good Robert Langdon, and no matter what they did, that movie wouldn't have been good. It's not a book you can even attempt making into a movie. But I saw it coming anyway, that's why I didn't see it.

Apparently they already started filming the nexy Dan Brown book. It's going to be on the one that he releases in September.

And yes, I forgot that one part, they don't even put the tape on the screen. Also, the 2 news people aren't in the movie either (the ones that go around and follow Robert or w/e)
