Well, this problem started when I first reformatted around late April. This high pitch noise, almost super-sonic or as so it sounds, keeps persisting and giving me headaches. I had to reformat again 2 days ago due to viruses (meh, nothing to lose) and the problem still persists. Every time I scroll, it sort of gets loud while I'm scrolling. When I stop scrolling, it stops getting loud and remains at the same loudness. As of right now, its not doing it, but it will be tonight.
I never checked inside yet, though I plan on it today. |

It's probably your harddrive, I have the same problem with one of mine but it's constant...and I wake up with headaches because of it.
Did you install all of your drivers after you formatted?

All except for my sound card because my sound never worked in the first place. |

If it were at super sonic, then you won't hear it because the human ear is not able to hear up to super sonic speeds. 
Had this problem once and found out it was a faulty psu. Changed it and the problem went away, but others out there are not so lucky. As their high pitch is not the cause of a bad power supply, but something else.
Take your PC and plug it to a different part of the room and see if it still does it. |

I said it seemed to be near
But oh well. All other plugs in my room are occupied. And for the PSU, I'll look into that. |
