|
|
Hey.
So here i've made this little tutorial for my girlfriend, but maybe this might help some of you that don't know yet how to :
Save songs from any video playing in any website.
Some might say "Download the video with Internet Download Manager".
But most of the time the video format won't be supported by Movie Maker, which is the most used audio extractor i guess.
Anyway, here's my tutorial, it's in 9 steps.
Also, don't forget :
When you're recording, stop every application that might play sounds of any kind because otherwise, it will appear in the recorded song too as well.
Have a nice day. =]
P.S : I know most of you might already know this method but we never know. It might help somes that don't yet know.

Yeah... and any audio/video converter would do just fine.

That's a bit of unnecessary work.
Download the video and use ffmpeg to extract the audio. | Code: | | ffmpeg -i video.mp4 song.mp3 | Quite simple.
There are plenty of video downloaders for YouTube and such sites if you don't know how to do it yourself.
Add this as a bookmark to download the MP4 version of videos from YouTube: | Code: | | javascript:if(document.location.href.match(/http:\/\/[a-zA-Z\.]*youtube\.com\/watch/)){document.location.href='http://www.youtube.com/get_video?fmt='+(isHDAvailable?'22':'18')+'&video_id='+swfArgs['video_id']+'&t='+swfArgs['t']} | It gets variables from the flash itself to read the T value and check other formats (22 and 18). This script should always work, unless YouTube has a major update.
Example in PHP: | Code: | preg_match('#\?v=(.{11})#', $pageurl, $videoid); //Get the video ID from the URL
preg_match('#pageVideoId\s\=\s\'(.{11})\'#', $htmlfrompage, $videoid); //Get the video ID from the HTML
preg_match('#"t": "([a-zA-Z0-9=_-]+)"#', $htmlfrompage, $tvalue); //Get T value to download video |

I just use a nifty converter that has a billion options... I forgot where I got it though.
Also, I have no idea what half of those things you are clicking are...
I think what you are doing is switching your mic to hear your stereo and recording that, right?

All of DVDVideosoft's programs are free and are excellent. They've Youtube downloaders as well as video converters. I'd recommend this.
