Hello folks,

I was wondering how many of you have tried the first release candidate of Windows 7, and how you feel about it. Personally I am very pleased with it's compatibility (even though it's still a Beta), and the changes they've made when it comes to layout. I have to admit that I had to get used to Windows 7, but it was nothing a few hours of non-stop tinkering couldn't fix. The 'Documents' folder for me was an excellent change, with the ability to assign more than one folder to it.

I am currently playing with the 64-bit version. I am on a Dual core system with 3GB DDR2 memory and a 350GB HDD. Works like a fucking charm!

Your thoughts?

aside from the superbar, for me win7 feels exactly like vista. It's true what they're saying that win7 should have been the first vista released if you get what I'm saying. Yes it does run smoother and faster but don't forget that is still has the registry as its core, has dll hell and uses up many resources that eventually slow you down. Windows 7 is a big leap but not big enough to get me to stop using XP

Yes, I have Win7. Very nice OS.
Has never gave the the blue screen of death, and had very few or no errors.

I recommend it. Wink
