Hello I would like to ask some basic illustrator questions (AI).
#1, How do I control only one of the converting points when Im
using convert point tool.
#2, How do I delete a point and then make the line still continue but to the next point.
#3, Is there a fast way to make vectors without when its a transparant image or do I have to do it manually.
#4, What is the real gain with AI? Seems like photoshop can do the same but easier.
#5, How do I make a path where it deletes the "fill" instead of filling it?
This is how it is atm:
I need to know how to delete points and use only one convert point to fix it better.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Humper

#1: Unsure what you mean, to control one point on a path select the white mouse pointer, click on the point once, then click again and you can move it etc.
#2: Select the point as above and hit delete.
#3: No idea what you're asking.
#4: You're able to easily and accurately edit any of your work, at any point. You don't have to redraw something if you made it wrong, don't have to do a bit again if it's the wrong colour, you can work extremely small thanks to working with vectors and the nature of the pen tool. You can type text, break it down and directly modify it (i.e. lengthening parts of the letter). The list goes on.
#5: You have two colour option boxes in the bottom left. One is for line stroke, one is for fill. Simply select the fill and it the transparency option beneath it (white box with a red strike through it).

Oh thanks for your help but you didn't really get what I mean.
Look at the image and you get more.
Also it doesn't work as you say on #5, when I press the [/] it still
shows the black because thats on the other path.
So it only works if I put it on white but then its not transparant anymore.

You're using the convert anchor point tool. I said use the white mouse pointer (Direct selection tool). Click the point once, then click and hold on it and move to manipulate.

Sorry but I maybe explained it bad.
I know how to use them but I can't find them without pressing the middle of
the point then the handle appears but then the other point resets (when I press at the middle)
so I wonder how I can see the handle without having to press
the point because that resets the other handle.
And I quote my other question also.
