The image you used.
It's too sharp.

Replace it with a different, easier to view image.

Also, add a stroke on the text layer.


Oh OK, and what do you mean by "...add a stroke on the text layer." ?

Sorry for these questions as I am a beginner.

Double click on the text layer.
A box will pop up, there should be a list of things with a checkbox.
Tick the one next to stroke, and change it to a 2-3px black line.
