While I agree about the lack of a focal point I do feel that it has a light source. The colours, while they do not contrast excellently, do have a certain appeal, I find. They also provide a certain sense of rays of light. Particularly, if you look at venom's (the bottom character) left hand, you will see that it is actually blocking the light. An effect that I can appreciate.
