| The general programming section is for source code. If you are just going to post the binary, it goes in the aptly named Binaries section.

haha what's a alternative to system("pause")? i tired googleing but it couldn't really find something that was good.
oh, and you might want to use
using namespace std;
step 2
learn input

Just do get from cin or something, but don't worry about it, you won't need to pause input for long.
Don't over do the studying thing. Remember that if you try to hard, you will get bored and start questioning. If you ever doubt C++, do a google search of C++ is better than... to get you motivated. Don't think it sucks just because you don't like one thing, it can get better. That's all the pointers I have to be successful with C++
And err.. don't post useless programs here, just legitimate questions. This place isn't for showing off. Tis for helping

althought you gotta include the conio.h then

Also, you shouldnt release your "Hello world" programm, at least make it a calc or something
