Alright, so I recently reformatted my computer and now, every 1-10 minutes a pop-up comes up, in Internet Explorer. I've set NOTHING to Firefox, everything that should be IE is set by Default to Internet Explorer. Not only does Firefox have pop-up control, but the pop-ups come up no matter what site I come up to.

I've tried to uninstall it, but it doesn't show up in the uninstall screen. I've tried to remove the files in Program Files and it says I need Permission. I thought it was because it was in use (because the process comes up the very second I close it, and no matter how many times I close it it comes up). I know I have permission, because I can delete any other file (that's not in use, of course) in Program Files. I also am the only user on this computer, and have been the only user on this computer.

The process stays open no matter what I do, I mean it closes but opens up within half a second (iexplore). If I leave the computer on overnight, it will disconnect from the internet, and it never did that before. I know it isn't my adapter because I've tested it.

HOW DO I GET RID OF IE/POP-UPS!

Also, I have scanned my computer with 3 online virus scanners plus AVG (<3), and found 0 threats. Also, all of the popups start with "CiD: " in the bar at the top (with minimize, maximize and close). If you need any information, I will give it to you no problem (if I have it )

You shouldn't remove IE. Its how programs connect (I.E MSN). I think. Anyway, get something like SpySweeper it might help.
