to me it looked as if she lost her memory or something =0
like, her flashbacks never show her doing the actual killing.
and Guren has the flower design on her back. Which is also a flashback that the kid has of his mother, whos face is never shown....
also, Orochimaru said that she would have an attraction towards him. How could guren possibly know that he was the son of the woman she supposedly killed? And why else would she have such a motherly attraction towards him from the start?

Kabuto told her that to control it, right after she had a flashback after hearing the kid play a song with the leaf thingy.
Her flashback was of the kids mom listening to the same song. then someone snuck up behind her and supposedly killed her. The flashback ends with the flower(camila?) turning red. Which is also the same sign that guren has on her robe. =0
