Sorry I can't do a thing about it, but, I do suggest file encryption in the future (not just passworded files). Not sure the the iPod Touch can handle that sort of thing, as I've never had one.
On a side note: Many students are being charged with production and distribution of child pornography in the US by taking photos of themselves nude and sending it to their mates (mate as in lover). Not sure how this sort of thing would work out in England.
