So I was wondering of buying the iTouch 2nd gen sometimes now, but first I would like to get some review from some of you iTouch owner.
Do you think it's worth it getting a 2nd gen now?
What do you recommend? An 8 gigs or 16 gigs iTouch?
I will be adding apps on it (not alot), songs, and other stuffs on it, but I heard if you put a lot of apps or anything on it, it starts to lag?
I'm also planning to jailbreak it later, is it worth it?

I've got an 8gig, I gotta say, I goddamn love it.

But, personally, the music lover I am, I regret getting the 8gig, so get a 16 or 32. If you can't afford it just go for an 8. If you want vids though you'd need more space.

I'm not sure if it's worth getting one now, or waiting for the new model to come out, although that won't be jailbroken right away.

The more apps you have making it more laggy is a myth. If you jailbreak it you can get a program called sysinfo, one of it's features is pretty much a task manager (like in windows) for your ipod. You can close unnecessary processes (such as safari and the media player) because when you quit some programs the processes stay there.

Definitely jailbreak it.
I've had no problems with it, I did it manually myself, while it was still unreleased to the public (contacts :D).
I jailbroke my mates iPod with quickfreedom, about 3 button clicks and you're done.
Very, very worth it.

i recommend you get a 16gb, like myself, an 8gb is quite small.
