Ok, but the crappy thing is, that in the pc's from 500-800 dollars, they either put in a good processor without a graphics card (on board graphics) or they take a really crappy one like the 9500gt

What's bad about the 9500 GT?

Well, it depends on what you want to do with it. But for medium-hardcore gaming, it's pretty bad.

I don't really play graphic intensive games, but I want to play CS:S. Can you play that ok with the 9500 GT?

Yes it will play CS:S well but its still a VERY expensive computer for the price.

Instead you could get an ALOT btr comp for that price.

CS:S is also very CPU intensive, so that CPU will probably do poorly on CS:S.

If you want a hard core gaming system, build your own to save some $$$. If you are going to run CS source, you can get a shitty $400-$500 dell, and it would do. BTW I couldn't see the link, so I could not determine the price range. :\

If you have to get pre built, technically he could use Ibuypower.com. They are cheaper compared to other pre builts and at least you can choose the parts. Confused

EDIT: yay 200th post woop.
