Looks like your screen is going the way of the dodo.

Try an external monitor and it it's still doing the same thing then it's most likely your graphic card.

Moisture/oil from your fingers lessens the appearance of the [actual] scratches?

This computer is brand spankin' new.
It's not the gfx card.
Because there's about a dozen and I can rub each and every one of them off.


When a product is new do you really believe that it's in perfect condition?
You ever heard of something called defects?

Since it's still new then stop wasting your time, bring it back to where you got it from and either ask for a refund or exchange.

There were issues with Nvidia mobile graphics, but not sure if you got one of the defective models.
