Well I can't get files from my external HDD but I could add files to it.

Could it have to do that my External HDD's file system is FAT 32 and my Computer's file system is NTFS?

Would it affect it?
If not what are the possble causes of this problem?

+I am however able to copy fairly small files from my HDD but that's it.

Additional Info:

The error I recieve is. "Unable to locate file" because my HDD is somehow disconnected while copying files from it.

NTFS is a better File System but I don't think that's the cause...
If I were you I would copy your files onto your internal or another External Drive and Format the External with the problem...

Well I recently also found out that in new models of PCs / laptops it works but it might just be coincidence that my pc is old as shit.

So you've tested this External Drive on other PC'z?
Try using another External on your Pc to see if that work's...
Could be a problem with your PC USB Port.
Try switch to another USB port...

;-; Sadly I'm the only one who has an External HDD here at my place, but Flash drives work. >_> also I tried all the ports at my pc, results were all the same.

Try formatting the drive because something similar happened to me on my first ever Flash drive...
Reformatting it fixed it for me and I still have it today....
