add me on msn if you want a hand. you can't brick your ipod by jailbreaking, if you mess up you can enter DFU mode and restore. this short tutorial is what i followed and it's really simple. _________________

Actually, it is really easy if you can get a vid tut going so you know exactly what to know. I'm on the verge of my jailbreak right now. _________________

Is there a way to access files or make the iPod show up in your My Computer like older iPods? I tried iPhone browser but there isn't anything on there that you can edit except the music _________________

Right click the iPod in the sidebar of iTunes, go under properties...and there's some option that I don't remember that you have to tick in order for it to show up under my computer. _________________

Coulda sworn I saw a tut for it somewhere. Oh well. If you're looking for a way to bring files from your iPod to your computer, there are programs that can do that. DRM fucked me over though. _________________
