nope, I checked and its not there. its probably an add on but i need to know the name to add it |

I really want to jailbreak my iPod Touch 2G but it looks really difficult and I'd probably screw it up and have to buy a new one  . Is it really as hard as it looks though? And the main reason I want to do it is so I can access the files on it.

Thanks, but YouTube doesn't work where I live cause of internet, but I found this site with 2 different tutorials on how to jailbreak the 2G, one with QuickPwn and the other with QuickFreedom, which one would be best?

I used quickfreedom, it was step by step with instructions inside the program.. idk about quickpwn tho |

My iPod doesn't show up in iTunes, when I unplugged it, it booted up and then it was detected, I tried restoring it back to normal cause I decided not to jailbreak it since I would probably screw it up but I guess I was too late cause now I get an error when I try to restore it and it's stuck on the "connect to iTunes" thing that I got when I first bought it...

is it a USB cable pointing at the itunes icon?
if so its suppose to be like that for about a min. |

I've tried to jailbreak my frigging iPod all night. I'll try this youtube link and hope to god it doesn't make me waste another six hours.
EDIT: This seems promising. For all of my other attempts, I got up to the point where I have to load the jailbroken firmware. I'm doing it now, but I actually have the white screen DFU mode. So close.

I'm probably just gonna give up. The only reason I want to jailbreak it is so I can mod the files of apps like FieldRunners, it's not worth accidentally breaking it and losing $400...
