I have tried to install Steam ten times, everytime it fails saying theres an error loading a DLL. I have found the DLLs online and downloaded them, but even when I place the steamui.DLL in my C:\WINDOWS\system folder it says there is an error loading the steamui.dll. Can anyone download and install Steam properly? If not, can someone with a working steam provide me their Steam DLLs/files?

I don't think thats where the steamUI.dll is suppose to go. Plus, if you were trying earlier, steam was down for a bit so you probably were trying to update steam. Try again now and see if it works.

Steam site times out, at least the support subdomain does.

somesing's wrong.
check your 'hosts' file
check your firewall

here, i took a picture for you. but since you can't connect to it, it's probably not a problem with uninstallation.
