Soooooo what do you think is a good download speed to you?
do you think this speed is fast 568kb/s for a 4 year old laptop?

Well, that's a whole lot better than my Computer or laptop.

My Computer's maximum DL speed was only about 80+kbps... Confused

My PC downloads at 900/kbs normally, on occasions it may go to 1.1mb/s or something.

I went tweaked my computer so I get better download speeds. I usually get 600kb/s-1mb/s+ dl speeds.

Your computer barely has any factorization in how fast you download something...

As long as it is not like... from 1980, where they can't support intrawebz Razz

The three key factors are:

*Your ISPs speed
*The server your downloading from's speed
*Your network card/router/modem... ex) say you can download at... 100mb/s, but your network card/router/modem can only support 10mb/s... You would be restricted to 10mb/s

For the third option, almost all network cards can support up to 100mb/s, which none of you are downloading at Razz

I get 200kb/s and Zynon, they don't deliver what they promise cause they don't care about you or anybody else, so unless you complain and shit they won't do anything. Or you could tell them that, but they would probably charge you.

From sites in my country, I can download with almost 2.5 MB/sec .. Now that's a fast connection, according to me Very Happy
