Do you want Warhammer 40K?( i played it its great)
or do you want a new game system? DS. ( i own one too)
If you want to play a new game go with warhammer 40K.
If you want to try something new go with the ds.

It's a turn based roleplaying game:
| Quote: | | Players assemble and paint individual 28 mm (1.1 in) scale (approximately 1:56) miniature figures that represent futuristic soldiers, creatures and vehicles of war. These figurines are collected to comprise squad s in armies that can be pitted against those of other players. Each player brings a roughly equal complement of units to a tabletop battlefield with handmade or purchased terrain. The players then decide upon a scenario, ranging from simple skirmishes to complex battles involving defended objectives and reinforcements. The models are physically moved across the table and the actual distance between models plays a role in the outcome of combat. Play is turn based, with various outcomes determined by tables and the roll of dice. Battles may last anywhere from a half hour to several days, and battles may be strung together to form campaigns. Some game and hobby stores host games periodically, and official tournaments are held on a regular basis. |
If this type of game appeals to you, go for it.

warhamemr 40k ftw!
seriously, i dont know about your local gamesworkshop, but mine has hobby camps and tournaments every saturday. its brilliant. you get to make new friends, and polish up on your painting and modelling skills. its even funner if you have or you can get one of your friends into it then you can play each other all night. i say 40k.

| There are online games of Warhammer 40K, but they are not as in depth as the actual game. I play(ed) both warhammer 40K and fantasy.... the table top game is a lot more time consuming but its a whole hell of a lot more fun than the online. Unfortunately, it is a time/money sink if you like to keep them all painted.

yes, "dawn of war"
but it's nothing like the actual game.
I wouldn't suggest warhammer 40k, i regretfully collected it for 2 years..
It's a big waist of money, and crap.
Get a DS.

I dont know but I would probably go with the warhammer 40k set. I have a
original DS and it sucks. DS advancements dont make anything better, just
smaller, sleeker, more memory/ ram and ummm.... maybe minimally better
graphics but their unnoticeable.
