I would say this is a good thing at a time of this regression.
I think it is a good idea for the US government to have a "temporary communism/socialism", I prefer socialism because we have more rights Razz

"Look at sweden" Look how succesful they are. Although it may be a monarchy but the king have no power here. nevertheless social democracy. That is what you want to achieve. A country with too "much" of democracy are often called liberlism(U.S), and socialism communism(east country, such as Russia), vice-versa. Therefore someone decided to make a Ideology based on both sides.

And im pretty sure U.S won't get near socialism. US is too liberal or too conserve. Its like socialism never existed.

We're already going towards socialism. When Congress controls its own pay, the president is trying to nationalize banks, the common people are paying for other people's business ventures, and don't even get me started on social security.
The next step will be communism. The person (or people, in this case) in charge will never relinquish their own powers. There is a difference between a country being successful and having happy people. I don't care if my country's successful, I only care that I'm successful, safe, and not getting bombed by other countries. The government only exists to keep the people safe.
