ok well two days ago my firefox browser started to become slow ,so then i scaned with uniblue and cleans up all the junk files,but it was still slow so then i went to about:config and tryed to make it faster ,BUT i epic failed and it got worst so i am going to re-install it BUT it would delete my bookmarks to sites that i cant spell right,so is there a way to keep the bookmarks but without keeping the other junk? Razz

Very tiring way: Copy the sites in notepad or something else. Then reinstall Firefox and put the sites in your bookmarks again.

Export your bookmarks to an HTML file. Firefox has that function built in...

Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Export HTML...

I fucking hate the way it imports bookmarks to incorporate the backup. I can't remember exactly what happened to mine, but it made a bunch of extra folders and I was stuck rearranging my bookmarks for a good five minutes.
Better, get the extension Foxmarks (Xmarks is the same thing if you want to future-proof), set up an account, and synchronize with their server or one you have access to. When reinstalling, just have all the bookmarks on the server overwrite those in Firefox.

Why would you say I'm wrong then use IE to prove your point? Makes exactly no sense.
@OP, I checked again. Just do what Superweapons said, it works (or at least exporting as a .json file, I didn't do html).
