I'm sure the thing has a warranty... For some reason a lot of people don't realize their warranties are anywhere from 1-3 years and sometimes even up to 5. There may even be others with longer warranties.

Check with your manufacturer and I'm sure he can look up the serial or do something to figure out if you are still under warranty.

PS - DON'T FUCK WITH IT. Chances are you'll make it worse and when you try to take matters into your own hands EVER, it immediately VOIDS all warranties.
