What do I do with the files when done? Extract, burn ISO to CD, run CD, D/L patch, place in WC3 directory, done?

You could just mount it to save you a CD

Or extract/burn onto PC without using a disc by using third-party software.

mount the iso with daemon tool.
there is CD key on one of the iso.
install wc3
then frozen throne.
