panda is mediocre... you can always find better AVs than panda but you won't die using it either.
its "proactive protection" thingy is worth mentioning because it killed all my homemade malware.

I would never ever recommend AVG or Avast!.Too many false positives and not much flexibility.Eset NOD32 and Kapersky are way better.

| What? What's bad about Norton? So far, it's protected my computer from all viruses.

Clamwin can't remove the simplest of viruses, but it's very lightweight and it's OS (Open Source).
TrendMicro also fails to remove my 'simple' virus. I'd recommend avast.

F-Secure.
PROS: Very efficient, easy to use.
CONS: Can be very heavy on older computers.

Avira just got choosed as best antivirusprogram.
I could see if I can find the link again later.
I have used avira antivir for a while now and it rocks.
Low memory usage and works great and its FREE.
F-secure is also pritty good, abit heavy on memory usage and on
startup heavy on the CPU usage (only on startup).
Otherwise pritty good but not as good as avira.
Avast, overall good a good choise if you don't like avira somehow.
Kaspersky, crap never go with that.
Nod, pritty good but blocks little to much and not so secure.
Norton, worst antivirus and firewall ever! Don't get it, it doesn't find
the viruses and it can't delete them if it does.
It drains up much ram and block many things even if the
program is listed as "Secure".
Never every go to norton.
Panda, looks good but it isn't good.
Doesn't find viruses, which makes it useless.
I can only say on these, due those are they ones I used and
read about.
Others I only read about and can't state anything then.
So if you didn't get it, I recommend Avira Antivir
Regards Humper
