I use a premium account but I still get 65~kb/sec speed. I get 40~kb/sec speed without an account. M max is about 145~kb/sec. Why does this happen? Also, I'm talking about downloading, not uploading.

| Have you tried using a download manager? It may just be that your connection to the site isn't very strong. I max out my connection with my RS premium.

What do you mean? Also, do unfinished downloads get erased if you close Firefox Minefield?

Just download and try using FDM. It should max your connection, but it may just be that your internet isn't as fast during the day because more people are using it. You can do a speed test at Speakeasy.net and see what you're getting.
Whether or not it keeps an incomplete download depends on how it was closed and if you were downloading as a premium user.

I guess pausing my download would let it stay(considering that I can use a premium account)?
