How do I cheat?

In Cheat Engine 5.5, I tried to turn on the speedhack fuction in the Age of Empires The conquerors in Windows Me but it show the following message"Failure enabling speedhack. (DLL injection failed)". Then I tried use "old speedhack but it say only work in windows 2000. I want to ask if it is possible to use speedhack in windows 9x as I want to test ai scripts in a faster speed. Thank you.

There's not much that can be done about this. Dll injection in windows 9x isn't as easy as in nt4.0+ based (it's missing CreateRemoteThread) and there are some problems with api hooking
