Most of the time. Bad question to ask on the internet though, everyone becomes an asshole, and thinks they know everything, even though a lot of their logic can be thwarted with references from the Bible, and other places. You should add other religions, not everyone is Christian, but still prays/goes to a place of worship. Synagogue, Mosque, ect.

I'm always an asshole. Smile
However, i'm not an ignorant prick. I know a lot about other religions, unlike other kids.

I try to stay educated, but I admit, sometimes I might do something ignorant. For example: Ask a arab kid why his sacred book isnt in english.

Care to elaborate on your mindless drivel?

Prove to me that god existed.

Prove to me the miracles your "messiah" supposedly did.

Prove to me that god doesn't exist. Also you're so cool coming in here "Religion=bullshit" thank's for all the evidence/proof and all the effort you put into telling us, it was very persuasive. The question was do you go to church yes or no, prick.

Ontopic: I do but not very often, sadly :/.

I'll give you a harder thing to do, prove to me he existed.

Let me ask you some things,
If god created light on the first day, why did he not create sunlight until the fourth day.

If god is supposed to be inhuman, without human characteristics, perfect. Why does he favor certain people, why does he choose certain people to be leaders. Why is he showing human characteristics.

If god is omnipresent, why did he ask Adam where he was?

Its not like he choses the people for leaders he makes everything happen for a reason. So lets say you become a gabarge worker, but you might make a amazing discovery. Its your part for the world.

Like I said everything happens for a reason you might not see it, but I believe. I know he exists because I heard him talk to me before, and have seen signs of his existance.

Is this a debate now? Very Happy
Personally, I think people go to church either because they feel guilty, parents force them, or simply because they are jesus freaks

ANYWAYS... This thread should be closed...
Religion threads always lead to flaming.

That didn't answer my question.
"God" isn't supposed to be biased, as in he doesn't choose favorites. Why did he choose the specific people to lead the Israels, or whatever the story is.

Personally, I really don't know if there's a god that exists. Though, if i had to choose whether there is or isn't, i would say no.

The main reason, is because there are so many religions in the world that consider themselves to be the only "true" religion.
I don't know--

But an other reason i don't think god exists, or religions should have been existed, is because because blame "god" on their mistakes, or misfortunes. For example, my stepmother said she spun out on an oil slick in november, and she was an inch away from hitting another car. And she said, "Now that's god"

My response was, "No, that's the law of momentum, it dies down after a while"

I pity idiots like that.

You do not have to disprove what has never been proven.

Also, I do not.

For people who don't believe in God or afterlife...
What if what you believe in is true for yourself?
So... If people believe in heaven, they would go to heaven.
If people want to be an animal or something when they die, they would be that.
If people believe in no afterlife, they have nothing in their afterlife.
So... What if this was true? (This is just my theory/belief)

I respect your belief, but that makes less sense than the whole "God" idea.

I believe that you just dream. As if you're sleeping.

If you dont know the answer yourself, why impose it on others? The only reason would be your looking for what other people think. First, who are we to state the behavior of God? Always looking on the bright side of things. For example: I brake my leg, and Im forced to miss a big sports game. But, what if I were to make a more permanent injury on my leg during that game, forcing me to abandon the sport forever? Whos to say? Ill give you something, we had to get somewhere in five minutes, probably a four minute drive at least, and my mom lost our keys. Were all running up and down the house, turning everything inside-out. My mom starts praying "Please Jesus, Please Baby Jesus, Lord help me Find my keys.. Saint Anthony, help me find my keys..". My mom walks up the stairs, and all of a sudden, her keys are on my 9-year-old sister's bed. She walks back downstairs, and the second set is right on the counter. Faith is a powerful thing, given, you cant "test" God, you can thank/ask for a blessing. There have been atleast 3-4 moments in my life like this, and you cant deny that there is something greater out there.

If there is a "God", I am sure that he (or she) would be busy with other things besides helping your mother find her keys. Seriously.
