| Either way, I think it's fairly expensive, though I've never shopped for a tablet before.

40$ for a tablet is cheap ....
Wacom tablets >> the cheapest is 200$ and the most expensive is 1600$ (( I'll buy that one in some years >.> its totally worth it >.> seach for wacom on youtube and you will see ))
PRO tip : this table size is A6 (( the number is number of folds ))
the 1600$ wacom is A2

Now in what situation would you need 65 different configurable buttons? In order for it to not be gigantic, each spot would not be able to be larger than a square millimeter, in which case would be hard to not only hit the one you meant to hit, but remember which one was which.
Useless technology these days.
