you can connect your electric guitar to any microphone input socket
the problem is when you connect a bass

it wont
the pitch of a guitar is the same used on the range of common microphones
well.. I would recommend you to dont use a effects pedal because if you to too high pitches like the over echo ones it can blow up your speakers

chek out the volume in your guitar, you have to set
volume 100% gain 100%
if you have pre and post gain then put 100% pre gain and 0% post gain

LOL VOLUME TO 100%?btw my guitar onlky has Voluem and pitch....No gain.

turn them both to 100%
it should work I have done it with my guitar

seach on youtube I'm pretty sure that there should be some videos

there are some apps for pc to mod your guitar sound and pitch calibrators
