Well I play Enemy Territory I made pk3 that has enhancement for textures and aim. But it works only on servers that is unpure. Meanning only on unpure servers this pk3 works. However, If i convert this pk3 file into dll and load it once the game loads it will work even on pure servers.

Dose this make any sense?

I'm saying you don't make any sense at all. Is a pk3 file a dll file with a renamed extension?

It's just an archive packed with various resources (textures, models, shaders, etc) used by games based on the Quake 3 engine. There used to be an exploit where you could connect to an unpure server, then reconnect to a pure server with your mods intact, I doubt it works anymore though.

Ok, whats the exploit can u give it to me:). Also this is only pk3 file i just want to make it a dll file god damn:(.

PK3 files are basically zip files, they can be opened, and packed again with whatever you feel like using.

No you can't do what you want to; that is the entire point of a pure server.

and dll files are collection of classes in one ore more namespace(s). Eg a class library.

pk3 are crypted zips that doesnt allow one to add futher files. they are generally used to store resources for the somewhat popular game QIII

they aren't encrypted, or protected in any way.

you can add / delete anything you like, as you wish.

How do you think mods make changes / their own pk3 files? You rename a .zip archive. Rolling Eyes
