Anywho: Lets say you have a 10 MB FLV video, and a 25 MB 'high-quality' MP4 video.

One person watches the 10 MB video. That's 10 MBs of bandwidth used.
1000 people watch that one video on your site... 10000 MBs of bandwidth used.

Now lets assume you have 10 videos, each 10 MB FLVs, and those same 1000 people watch all of them. 100000 MBs of bandwidth.

And the same situation with the high-quality MP4: 250000 MBs used.

Point: A host which would allow such high bandwidth use and disk space, would cost alot. Not very well for a small project. For dedicated hosting, you would (for best results) have to buy your own servers and HDDs. And don't be fooled by "unlimited bandwidth" and "unlimited disk space" hosting, they will shut you down for prolonged/large use.

If you dare say "tl;dr": You'll go bankrupt trying to host this. Keep it a local project.
