|
|
I was thinking of buying a new computer. Mostly for gaming, downloading music/games, and multi-tasking.
The price range should not be exceeding $1000 (By the way I live in Toronto, Canada).
I need suggestions on what type of Graphics card/Sound card should it have, how much RAM, HardDrive space, GHz etc.; and the price it would cost.

Would you prefer AMD or Intel? do you know the differences.
I don't really see any stores that are good in your location.
It would be better to go with newegg.ca
if not i would try tigerdirect.ca for there store.
you pick. Newegg is cheaper but tigerdirect is close to you and might cost you a little extra.

More like, are you completely averse to an AMD build.

Indeed, considering how much a Phenom II 940 kicks ass compared to, say, a Q6600, especially considering how well it overclocks.

Pre-built computers are always considerably less powerful compared to a custom built computer for the price.
