Two computers on different modems trying to connect to the same place can't connect. I think. You need a router to sort shit out. Get a wireless router and one of these. _________________

What do you mean using two modems? How the fuck can you use two modems?
Why dont u just get a modem with inbuilt router/switch?
And wired connection are in general much more stable than a wireless. _________________

You're confusing modem's with NIC's and it makes my head hurt.
Your setup should consist of a single modem connected to a router, and from the router you should connect both computers via ethernet. I do not recommend using wireless under any circumstances unless absolutely necessary.
