is it possible to use a timer to search and see if text is on a web page, and if it is then click on it, and if not refresh the page until it finds some???

Well i do this thing called DragCave (http://dragcave.net/) and every time a "Rare Egg" appears it is gone before a SECOND IS UP!!! and i was wondering if i could make a thing that it refreshes the page until the egg i want appears, then click the image above the text is possible???

***I DONT CARE IF U THINK DRAGCAVE IS STUPID!!!***

each egg that appears of the page has a unique name, if you click one and its availible it will use a link like this

http://dragcave.net/get/Dscu

Dscu is the unique id for that particular egg.

If you manage to discover the unique id for the egg you are trying to find, then you could keep refreshing the page until it becomes availible.

The thing is, if you did that, the site would suspect you as a DoS attack (Denial of Service attack)...

They would block you VERY fast.

Its a web game, meaning the only way to capture an egg is to refresh the page until you notice it, there is no other way of getting the egg.

Not only that, but when i tried the game i noticed over 300 players, chances are, the egg seems to be taken quickly because 1/300 people notice the egg first.

So either risk being blocked for DOS'ing, or give up.

And finally, how else do you think that the eggs are taken as soon as they appear? people are not physhic, they obviously refresh the page continously until they notice the egg.

Rather than refreshing the link i suggested, just set up a macro bot, which will refresh the main page every second or however long you think you should wait before rechecking, and then search for text for that egg, and when found, select it with your mouse.

Autoit can do it quite easily.

Something like this.
